Parenting in a Pandemic: A Group providing support and solutions for families “doing school” virtually.
December 1 @ 8:00 am – January 8 @ 5:00 pm
Enrollment December 1, 2020 thru January 8, 2021
Are you feeling frustrated, overwhelmed or miserable as you try to help your kids “do school” in the current reality of virtual classrooms? Do you feel like it’s been a while since you were able to show up as your best self? Are you feeling isolated and at a loss as to how to make things better? You are not alone. And help is available!
Parenting in a Pandemic (PIP) is a group for parents and caregivers that meets each week online to provide a safe place to vent your current understandable frustrations, to share and hear what is working and what it not, and to receive new practical strategies to help your children be more successful at meeting their current academic challenges. So come join the conversation, and get your mojo back. When you have more peace, your kids will too!
Enrollment is open from December 1st, 2020 through January 8, 2021. Therapist, educator and academic coach, Kit Maxwell, M.Ed, MA, PLPC, ACC will lead an 8-week online group helping you find peace for yourself and your family. The group meets for one and a half hours each week and will include time in each session for parents/caregivers to talk about their personal feelings and experiences, as well as sharing the individual academic challenges of their students. Participants will leave each week with new strategies tailored to their individual needs. Individual sessions may also be scheduled with Kit if desired.
Meeting time is open to adjustment based on the needs of the group. Please contact Kit to indicate which start date is better for you at firstname.lastname@example.org
